The pizza queen is the queen of all the pizzas. An exquisite variation of the classic Neapolitan pizza margherita, was christened with this name in the distant 1890 the famous Neapolitan pizza maker Raffaele Esposito that contrary to what some think, was not the inventor of pizza, but simply what he named the pizza margherita in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy.
